For most claims, you’ll need the following information:

  • The date and time of the event
  • A brief description of what happened
  • Any photos of damage done to your property
  • The insurance and contact information of any others involved

If you’re filing a home or auto insurance claim, you can file anytime, anywhere using the MyAmFam app or by logging in to My Account. With the MyAmFam app you can file, track, and monitor your claim easily from any device.

You can file a claim by contacting your American Family Insurance agent or by calling 1-800-MYAMFAM (1-800-692-6326).
